Random Pictures...
Abby and Em wearing their Koala shirts for Jen
I'm sure they'll make me stop buying them look alike clothes soon.
Em and Sadie.
We are very sad to report that Sadie (who is Em's best friend) will be moving to Idaho in two weeks. I have offered to adopt her but was shot down. Good thing we have a horse stable just down the street. I'm sure we'll be there lots.

RRRGGGGHHH!
Okay, I'm doing an update even though I can't locate my camera to add pictures...why can't I locate my camera you ask? Well, we pulled out most of the carpet in the upstairs and replaced it with hardwood floors so everything is in boxes in the garage. I can't wait to show it off!
Today they sanded the floors so everyone and everything is covered in dust and its driving me nuts because its in between my toes! I hate that.
The hardest part is going to be the next three days when we can't walk on it from 8-5. I begged for a hotel room but Jeff clenched his cheeks again and said we could tough it out in the basement. The hardest part is going to be walking across the street to use my favorite neighbors bathroom when the Crohns hits in the mornings. Thanks Jan, we will be forever indebted to you!!
Garrett is doing great, he is off the pain medication, back to preschool, and eating corndogs again. He still is sleeping in my bed and I have a feeling he will milk that for a while although I can't take much more of his hot stinky breath on my face. I long for a night of uninterrupted sleep.
Em paid me the best compliment....she wanted her hair cut just like mine. Now I have a mini-me, or as my good friend put it "how does it feel to have your own my twin doll?"
I promise that as soon as I find my camera I'll post pictures of the house and Garretts surgery.

Soccer
Garrett started soccer a few weeks ago (it was very cold when I took some of these pictures and that is why he is wearing pants and a shirt under his uniform) and he has found his niche.
6 to 0
but he'll tell you he made all of them
Thanks largely in part to his dad, Austin, and Matt he thinks he is David Beckham.

HELP!!!
I know my blog following may have tapered off a bit but I need anyone who reads it to pitch in and help me out. I have committed to do a little 2 mile walk/run for Crohns disease. I am the team captain and I need to come up with a good name for my team. So far its called "Got the Runs" but I need input on a better name if there is one. If you come up with a name that I like better than the one I have I'll send you a $20.00 gift card. Put your thinking caps on and make me laugh....
The Horse Expo...
So a few weekends ago (yes, I am a horrible blogger, I am trying to be better) we went to the horse expo. Most people I know don't know what the horse expo is and up until Emily I didn't either... the horse expo showcases a bunch of different styles of horses and all the stuff that goes with owning a horse...an arena that Em could flourish in. Normally I would think snore city but it actually turned out to be quite fun.
This is Feika...a Friesan horse from.....(waiting for the drum roll)....Holland! He is the main reason we went, Jeff connected with him as you'll see in the little video.
Before you click play you need to know that this horse is not only from Holland but it knows Dutch. The owners met up with Jeff last year and they found out that he speaks Dutch. Well, the horse kinda freaks out a bit when it hears Dutch because that is its first language...they told us that when he likes someone or something it sticks its tongue out...watch....
I made him wash his hands...
Next we ran into the Clydesdales

This day is for the crapper
Dreaded day tomorrow...COLONOSCOPY!!
actually the dreaded day is today since I can't eat and we all know how much I love food....
Anyway...this post is to let you all know that it is colon cancer awareness month and if your 50+ I encourage you to get screened. If your under 50 but have a history of colon cancer in your family, talk to your MD about a screening. Wish me luck tomorrow.
