Em got eight new chicks for the farm. Abby, Beth, and Emma decided to name most of them: Sunnyside Up, Hugo, Omlet, and Sam (thats all I remember). Thank you to Emma, Beth, and Abby (it seems that Em isn't as creative as those three, she named her new goat that Uncle John gave her Emily).
The great thing about trick candles is they offer the picture taker the opportunity to get a great shot.

Em, love the hat! Looks like you had a great birthday! Wish we could have been there, but know we were thinking of you and miss you all very much! Can't wait to see your goat! Have your mom take a picture! :)
I love the pig ribs thing. My kids love to discuss where each slice of 'meat' came from. Lauren was extatic the other day at how simple it was that Chicken came from...chicken. You'd think she just discovered a cure for cancer! And I love that ya'll have a ton of animals now. Is it easier than kids???
